Two peaks a day
Most audiences read Telegram in two waves: the start of the day and the evening. Which one wins depends on whether readers open the channel at work or at home.
Timing
Every “best time to post” chart is an average over channels that have nothing in common with yours. A B2B channel peaks in the morning commute, a gaming channel after 22:00, a Dubai channel on a Sunday that is a workday there. AwrAiter answers the question per channel: it scores every published post against the channel's own median and reports the weekday and the six-hour window where posts consistently do better — only once there is enough data to say so.
01 — How it works
Posts published through AwrAiter are scored at 48 hours and again at 7 days against the channel's rolling 30-day median of views and reactions. The rest of the channel's history, up to a year back, is scored starting the first night after connecting.
Each post carries its publish weekday and hour in the channel's own time zone. Scores are grouped by weekday and by six-hour window: night, morning, afternoon, evening.
A pattern appears when the channel has at least 20 scored posts, the group has at least 5, and the group beats the rest by 20% or more. If the difference is smaller, AwrAiter says nothing rather than invent a rule.
The best day and window show up in the channel's insights and through the MCP tool get_channel_insights, so your assistant can pick the slot when it schedules.
02 — What the data usually says
Most audiences read Telegram in two waves: the start of the day and the evening. Which one wins depends on whether readers open the channel at work or at home.
Business and news channels lose reach on weekends; hobby and entertainment channels gain it. Post the recap on the day the channel's readers are actually there.
A channel for Italians in Berlin and a channel for Russians in Dubai peak at different clock times. AwrAiter schedules in the channel's zone, set when you connect it.
A Telegram post collects most of its views within the first day. A post in a dead window never catches up; it just sits under the next one.
Questions do better when readers have a minute to answer — evenings and weekends. Digests do better when readers are scanning — mornings.
Whatever the general pattern, the only number that matters is the one measured on your channel. That is why the recommendation is computed per channel, from its history, in analytics.
03 — The thresholds
The rules the insight engine applies before it tells you anything about timing.
| Signal | Minimum data | Shown when |
|---|---|---|
| Best weekday | 20 scored posts on the channel, 5 on that weekday | the weekday's average score beats the other days by 20% or more |
| Best window | 20 scored posts, 5 in the six-hour window | the window beats the other windows by 20% or more |
| Post length | 20 scored posts, 5 in the length bucket | a length bucket (up to 300 / 600 / 1 000 / more characters) beats the rest by 20% |
| Question at the end | 20 scored posts, 5 with and 5 without | posts ending with a question beat the others by 20% |
The thresholds are deliberately strict: a channel with ten posts gets no timing advice yet, and that is the honest answer.
04 — Questions
No. Morning (about 8–10) and evening (about 19–21) in the readers' zone are the common peaks, but the winner depends on the niche, the country and the format. Measure your own channel.
For hobby, entertainment and community channels usually yes; for business and news channels reach drops. AwrAiter reports the best weekday for each channel once it has 20 scored posts.
From the channel's own top posts: it groups scored posts by weekday and six-hour window and reports a group only when it beats the rest by at least 20%.
Twenty scored posts. A freshly connected channel gets up to a year of history scored starting the first night, so most active channels have a recommendation within a day or two.
The channel's own, set when you connect it. Slots are shown, saved and analysed in that zone.
Connect the channel today; scoring of its history starts the same night. One channel is free, forever.
